Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We ordered takeout โ a house soup and two lunch combos โ but when we got home, we realized we were given hot & sour soup instead of the house soup we clearly ordered. Mistakes happen, no big deal. I called expecting a simple correction, but instead was met with an argumentative attitude. The staff member insisted we should know the difference between the soupsโฆwhich is exactly why we know we never ordered hot & sour soup in the first place. Rather than apologizing or resolving the issue professionally, we were told weโd have to drive back with the incorrect soup for an exchange โ and that we would be charged extra. The lack of customer service was disappointing enough, but asking customers to bring back opened food also felt very off-putting. The food quality itself was also concerning. We ordered spicy beef with fried rice and shrimp with fried rice, but the dishes arrived covered in a thick jelly-like sauce. The beef looked unusually pale and had an unpleasant texture and appearance. COLD in temperature at the bottom. Unfortunately, I was too grossed out to eat it and ended up throwing it away. Inside while waiting was also dirty, chairs and tables were greasy, with crumbs an

Place is dirty. I bought chicken and broccoli. The chicken was uncooked raw like rubber. They filled my plate up with 60% rice and the rest chicken and broccoli. $12 for a small. It was takeout. When I arrived home saw the food and threw it in the garbage. I should have reported this place to the health department. ๐คข๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ

If I could leave no stars I would Iโve ordered from here a few time since living on this side of town and the food is pretty good but the service was disgusting it really triggered me as a black women ordering Chinese food to say the least there was only two duck sauces on the counter I actually like the duck sauce on there dry fake three piece shrimp fried rice as well as my Chicken wings. so I politely asked for more she only gave me one extra and threw it in my bag as if I was about to get on her nerves I asked for about five extra she told me a dollar she charged me after already paying and extra 25 cent for a pack of duck sauce because she only gave me four then Tried to right on the receipt for me to sign and extra 1.10 cents I had to cross it out for just the dollarโฆ and thatโs why Iโm leaving this review to say go spend your money with people that appreciate the fact that you actually come a few times a week spending more money then they want to charge you when they feel like it for a petty duck sauce so they get this petty one star!!!
